Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by SWC South Whittier Concrete, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services.
Services Provided
SWC South Whittier Concrete provides professional concrete installation, repair, and related services to residential and commercial customers. All services are performed according to industry standards and local building codes. We reserve the right to refuse service or modify project scope based on site conditions, safety concerns, or other reasonable factors. Project timelines and specifications are subject to weather conditions and material availability.
Estimates and Pricing
All estimates provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change based on material costs, site conditions discovered during work, or changes to project scope requested by the customer. Additional work beyond the original scope will be quoted separately and requires customer approval before proceeding. Payment terms will be specified in your project contract.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring clear access to the work area and marking the locations of underground utilities before work begins. You must obtain any necessary permits or homeowner association approvals required for your project. You agree to keep children and pets away from the work area for safety reasons. Any damage to unmarked utilities or obstacles not disclosed to us is the responsibility of the property owner.
Warranties and Guarantees
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and materials. Specific warranty terms will be outlined in your project contract. Warranties do not cover damage caused by soil settlement, tree roots, freezing and thawing cycles, or improper maintenance. Normal concrete characteristics such as minor surface cracks, color variations, and slight surface imperfections are not covered under warranty. Any warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the specified warranty period.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. This includes but is not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or other economic damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Cancellation and Refunds
Customers may cancel services before work begins with written notice. Cancellations after materials have been ordered or work has started may be subject to charges for materials, labor, and other costs already incurred. Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or site preparation has begun. Any refund amounts will be determined based on work completed and costs incurred at the time of cancellation.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of SWC South Whittier Concrete and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission. We may use photos of completed projects for marketing purposes unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
